Jad Fadel is a self-taught painter with a background in graphic design, deeply drawn to color, shapes, motifs, and cultural visuals. His artistic journey began through meditative art healing sessions, which ignited his passion for painting as a form of self-expression.

Jad’s work moves between expressionism and naive art, occasionally reflecting fauvist influences, particularly in his portraits. He primarily paints with acrylic on canvas, sometimes on wood, using intuitive compositions rich in layered color and intense emotion. Without adhering to fixed themes, he draws inspiration from people, landscapes, still objects, and cultural narratives, often incorporating tribal motifs and patterns.

For him, painting is not about conveying a literal message but rather forming an emotional connection between the artist and the viewer. His creative process begins with bold black outlines, allowing colors to take over through dynamic mixing and layering, resulting in expressive, vibrant works.

Jad’s art has been exhibited at Naila Gallery in Riyadh (2017). He envisions his work sparking discussions, interpretations, and leaving a lasting impact on both the art scene and the people who experience it.
